Zack Stommen will be leading Sabre Summer Skills this summer.  Zack should be a familiar face as he spent time working with U6 mini mites and teaching Power Edge Pro (PEP) to many of our travel players.   Zack and his family moved to Sartell in the fall of 2022 from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prior Sartell, he spent 4 years as a Director with the RoughRiders Hockey Club.  

While with the RoughRiders, Zack was a founding member of the RoughRiders Hockey Academy where they ran spring/summer AAA teams as well as camps, and private lessons. Zack is a skating and skills coach who spent 14 years as a Lead Instructor with the largest power skating company in North America.  He coached D1 athletes all the way down to the 6U players just learning to stand up. He believes in building muscle memory through repetition, and always focusing on long term athletic development.
